Merry Christmas to all from Pilgrims Pondering Ministry. Thank you so much for pondering with me this year.
After much analysis, only this remains, Pray constantly. Fully receive circumstances with gratitude. Be a good steward. Fear God and keep his commands. Spread the good news, for it is good and the only way! For this is the way! Love! Trust the Spirit, always. Be careful of words, for they reflect divine order. Be a servant not only of finances but of all entrusted to you. For all is the Lord’s: your body, your thoughts, your ideas, your land, your energy, and anything and everything else. Nothing would be apart from Christ, for all is His and created by Him. Sin separates you from Christ and reality and truth, for He is truth and reality. Sin reshapes reason. Our reason is already dust to the Lord. His ways are the true ways. Ours causes suffering and pain because it breaks reality. Yet we never affect the Lord. Nineveh was saved despite Jonah’s disobedience. Deus vult. Apart from God, we are dead. We cannot heal ourselves. A dead battery cannot jump a dead battery. Yet God redeems. God’s plan of redemption was immediate and full of mercy, for it was unmerited. Christ, the living tree, chose salvation and welcomes us to eternal life, for death and evil have been conquered by Christ alone. God’s ways are higher, yet now our sins are farther. Don’t love what is not eternal and not the Lord’s. Don’t even engage with it. Evil is evil. Fear God. Love all, for all will be revealed. We will see his face. Amen. Grace be with you all.
We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! God bless us, everyone!
