Songs and souls eternal

Late I hear the sweet songs of old,

Echoes through time, stories retold.

Thousands of years, yet nothing’s changed,

Invention of the soul, forever ordained.

Oh, the melody, it’s been going strong,

Through the ages, it carries on.

The sweet hum of hymns, eternal and pure,

Forever I’ll cherish, forever I’ll endure.

Too often we forget those who came before,

Dehumanize their struggles, dismiss them to their coreBut the invention of the soul remains steadfast,

A universal sound, destined to last.

Oh, the melody, it’s been going strong,

Through the ages, it carries on.

The sweet hum of hymns, eternal and pure,

Forever I’ll cherish, forever I’ll endure.

I’ll sing my heart out, till my final breath,

Resurrect with Christ, beyond life and death.

For in his embrace, I find joy and grace,

Forever I’ll sing, in harmony divine,

With the psalms of old, my soul will intertwine. For music is the language of the heart’s truest sound,In its creators embrace, eternal peace is found.
